Research and Education
Welcome and please explore the various links to the left which describe our programs in research and education.
Above all, we are committed to research which can enhance older adults’ quality of life by increasing their functional independence, addressing the most pressing problems through collaborative efforts involving clinical investigators, basic scientists and health outcome researchers.
In terms of education, we are especially proud of our 2-year geriatric medicine fellowship program which over the last two decades has trained nearly 80 geriatricians, with most assuming leadership positions throughout the United States and abroad.
