Research Interests
Quality Improvement, I am working with Qualidigim on a state wide effort to improve end of life care in CT hospitals. Long Term Care, I have recently studied the withdrawal of thyroid hormone therapy in nursing home patients and plan to expand this line of work to look at the impact of thyroid hormone therapy on bone health.

Geriatrics Practice Management, I have been collecting data on the impact of a geriatrics practice on the finances of an academic health center and will be presenting an abstract on the topic at the 2002 annual meeting of the American Geriatrics Society.
